Tokyo Appeal |
|
Ten organizations from Asia joined together in Nov.
2002 at Tokyo and decided to expand AQS.
They pledged to unite under a flag of ANQ and
work together for the Prosperity and Integration of
Human beings in Asia. It was declared that the
activities of ANQ should not be influenced by
any politics
|
Obituary : Dr Joseph M Juran Passes Away |

Dr. Joseph M. Juran passed away on February
28, 2008 of natural causes. He was 103 years
old and was physically and mentally active
until his death. he will be missed by all of
his family, friends and everyone connected
with the Quality Management & Pracitice Dr.
Juran was referred to as the father of
modern day Quality Management. He had many
accomplishments in his life. He named the
Pareto Principle; he provided a roadmap to
improve organization-wide quality; he
traveled the world to teach others how to
improve quality; and he founded the Juran
Institute Inc (JII) in 1979 at the age of
75.
Many of Dr. Juran뭩
techniques to improve business performance
are still in use today in as the Lean and
Six Sigma, tools and principles used all
around the world.

Dear ANQ members:
I
would like to deliver my best wishes to you all at
this time of the season. Wish all of you a happy and
prosperous new year 2008.
One
year has flied away since I took the position as the
chair of ANQ. Thanks to your tremendous effort and
gracious support, we have achieved and processed a
lot during the past year. The 5th ANQ Congress ended
with a great success in last October, Asian Quality
Excellence was proposed, ROQ (Russian organization
for Quality) became an ANQ board organization, and
IAQMA (International Association of Quality Managers
and Auditors) of Kazakhstan became a member
organization of ANQ.
It is
through all your help that ANQ is growing and
maturing steadily. Hopefully, we would continuously
cooperate for an even better development of ANQ.
Looking forward to seeing you all in the 6th ANQ
Congress, Bangkok, Thailand later this year.
